playing catch up

As always, it's time to fill in the spaces between our last blog posting and now.  To be honest, there really isn't much going on with us these days... just spending our days making it through this spring semester.  We're both very anxious for a break from school and have especially been yearning for warm weather!  The seasons here are so rude bouncing from warm to freezing cold, back and forth.  I wish spring would make up its mind and join us already!  For Valentines Day, we were able to sneak away from the cold weather and spent a night at an awesome hotel suite in St. George... Bryce surprised me with the details, and it was such a fun getaway!  I'm a very lucky girl.  We've also made a few trips up to Salt Lake during the last little while.  Bryce has been getting set up with his new job, and I've enjoyed tagging along and spending time with family while we're in the area.  Lots of exciting things are happening with our family!  We're anticipating the addition of another nephew from Nolan and Corie in May, and found out recently that Tim and Kathryn are expecting a baby in September!!  We are so excited!  But don't worry... we're not feeling the pressure, so don't expect news from us anytime soon. :)  Along with all this, my little brother, Kevin, is coming home from his 2 year mission in Argentina in just one week!  Spring break will be a busy time as we hang out with him, get to see Bryce's sister, Hannah, and say goodbye to Tim as he heads off for a year in Afghanistan.  March is already setting up to be quite an eventful month.

In addition to all this....
we made it through teaching our first sunday school lesson,
enjoyed an entertaining date to a Harlem Globetrotters game,

lived like we were rich and famous (Valentine's celebration...note the ginormous door)

I'm keeping in touch with my inner homemaker,

and Bryce is still surviving on Apple Jacks and chocolate milk.

Happy campers!
