So long carefree weekend

It's been a great weekend!  After Bryce worked so stinkin' hard this past week, he was successful in passing yet another test yesterday morning, this time for life insurance sales.  After that weight was lifted, we were able to relax and spend some quality time together by going to a movie.  We saw Sherlock Holmes and both loved it!  Then we went out to dinner at Applebees (thanks Hannah!!).  It was such a fun day!

And today... well, another interesting event.  We received a phone call this morning before church to let us know we needed to see the first counselor of the bishopric after church.  So of course, we were brainstorming all through our church meetings of what it could be about.  Our conclusion: sunday school teacher...... And yes, we were right!  We have been called as team teachers for the marriage & family relations class!!  This is a very intimidating calling, especially because a good part of it is about raising children, and obviously we don't know much about that! haha.  But truthfully, I'm a little excited.  It will be a great learning experience, and I'm sure it will be a benefit to us in our own marriage.

This is calling #1 for Bryce... calling #3 for me.  Wish us luck!

Oh, that is awesome! You guys will be great teachers - you're an adorable, in-love, funny, spiritually wise couple. And what a blessing to be able to read & prepare the lessons about marriage together, in your first year of marriage. I bet you'll gain lots of blessings from that. So, I know you're the choir accompanist, but what is your other calling?

Yahoo!! That was the class Tim and I went to in Logan! We loved it! And don't worry about the raising kids part because there will be others in the room in the same boat! It's an awesome class! You guys will do great!
